* Search Enhancement: On both the 'Search' and 'Lists' webpages, the main Search Bar has been upgraded / amended - you can now exclude items that contain a specific word or specific words. To do this place a '-' (dash) immediately before the word that you do not want to be present in items. The other amendment is a change to the simple 'Search' basis. The information / 'i' help sheet has been updated to include these changes - please read.
* Future Updates: Please keep an eye on this 'What's New' pop-up to see the amended dates for future item updates.
* Changes have been made to 'Fraser Medals' meaning that ALL their items are shown as 'Latest' on MM. To see 'Latest' items without Fraser Medals, use the 'Filter by Affiliate' and 'Select All / Deselect All' check boxes.

* During the week I was advised that Military Medals Online (MMO) updated the back end of their website - this has led to ALL their items being shown as 'Latest' on MM. To see 'Latest' items without MMO, use the 'Filter by Affiliate' and 'Select All / Deselect All' check boxes.
* During the week Cultman Collectables advised that they were having a 'sale' so this means that ALL their items being shown as 'Latest' (due to the price change) on MM. To see 'Latest' items without Cultman Collectables, use the 'Filter by Affiliate' and 'Select All / Deselect All' check boxes.
* After filtering out the above 2 Affiliates, this should then bring the number of new/amended items to 478.

* Excited to annouce the release, earlier this week, of 'MyMM' and the option for you to now save items to 'favourites'. Please see below (24/03/2026) for further information.

24/03/2026:
* The 'Search' and 'Lists' webpages have been enhanced to allow the user to save 'favourites' to a new part of the website called 'MyMM'. MyMM has been newly added as an option in the main menu.
* To use the 'favourites' enhancement you will need to create a free account (which simply requires 'name', 'email address' and your own selected 'password') - verification via the email address entered is required.
* To store items to your 'favourites' in MyMM you will need to click on the 'star' that is now newly located in the description for each item shown. When the star turns a gold colour, that item is stored successfully. To cancel this item being a favourite, click the 'star' again and it will revert back to grey.
* Items that have been selected as 'favourites' will show in MyMM. You can also cancel these being favourites from the MyMM page - again by clicking the 'star'.
* The favourite items will continue to be shown in your MyMM until you delete them - even if those items are removed by the Affiliate and are not included in future Medal Marketplace updates.
* Creating an account with Medal Marketplace is not mandatory - you can continue using the website as previously, but you will not be able to store any 'favourites'.
* The maximum number of favourites is currently limited to 30 (covering the 'Search' items AND the 'Lists' items).
* MyMM also includes a new 'free-type' box for you to save any regularly used 'search strings' (specific medals, certain names, etc) - perhaps using in the 'Multiple Keyword Filter'. For example, if each week you always check for 'Smith Jones McDonald Starmer Reeves Trump' then you could enter these in the 'free-type' box, click save, and then each week just simply copy and paste this full word string across to the 'Multiple Keyword Filter' (remember - NO commas) and click 'Go'.
* The 'Privacy Notice' and the 'Terms and Conditions' have been amended to allow for the changes.
* Whilst this enhancement has been tested, there could be teething problems, so please let me know any problems that you experience.

12/08/2025: UPDATE (of 'Filter Options' NOT 'Items'):
* I received a request to add a filter to the website whereby the user can search a number of names or numbers in one go. This option has now been successfully added to the 'Filter' part of the website (down the left hand side - below the 'Filter by Price' section). The new section is headed 'Multiple Keyword Filter'.
* In terms of what this filter does, if you check the box and enter a list of words or numbers (with NO separator i.e. no comma, no colon, nothing...) the output will provide only those items that include one or more of the words that you have entered, in the item's description. This should help if you have a list of names or numbers you like to search.
* This new filter option is different from the other options as follows:
- The main 'Search Bar' only provides those items where the 'exact phrase' entered is contained in the item description.
- The 'Filter-by Keywords' section allows a filter on specific default words, as stated, as well as 2 'user defined' keywords. You can use the slide bar to then search for items where ANY of the 'selected' words are contained in the description of an item, or where ALL of the selected words are in the description of an item (I think this part is a very powerful part of the filtering section).
* The 'i' for information pop up has been updated to allow for this change. I would recommend reading information section this from time to time to get the most out of the search / filter system.
* Along with this update on the filter, I have also made some back end (future proof) changes, so if there are any problems, please let me know and we can revert to the previous version (whilst I sort any issue out).

* Pleased to report that the Sort Function now enables the user to sort by 'Date Added'. This is now also the default 'sort'. (I may change this back to descending price - not sure yet.) The earliest dates entered for 'date added' is 4th April 2025 - all items with this date were added to Medal Marketplace on or before that date. All future items will have the actual date that they were added to Medal Marketplace. The dates DO NOT reflect the dates that the item may have been listed on the Affiliate's website.
* PLEASE NOTE: The 'Latest Additions' and the 'Date Added' filters show NEW items to Medal Marketplace AND ALSO include items where changes have been made by Affiliates to their items, such as amending the price, description or images.
