About Medal Marketplace
MedalMarketplace.com was formed with the sole intention of assisting medal collectors searching for military medals to add to their collection.
The idea was born when the founder, Wayne, returned to military medal collecting after a 20 year absence (spent working and raising a family). To his surprise there was not a single source to search the military medal market and as such had to review over 50 different online retailers to find what he wanted.
The aim is to get as many online medal retailers onboard to enable collectors a simple access point to as much of the military medal market as possible. One Affiliate retailer described it as the ‘Zoopla’ of medal collecting, which is a good description of what we aim to achieve.
All 'Affiliates' have given specific authorisation for their information and data to be shared on MedalMarketplace.com.
MedalMarketplace.com is designed to be completely independent and free to use for 'Affiliates' and users alike.

Founders
Wayne: Roll back 20 years or so and Wayne began his interest in military medal collecting, whilst around the same time started creating very basic websites and intranet sites for his employer. The interest in both medals (and IT) has remained and he now has more time to commit to this hobby.
Tia: Equipped with a depth of IT knowledge and expertise, with a significant amount of enthusiasm, Tia provides the more technical input and knowhow in the creation and design of the Medal Marketplace website.
